Laowa launched a 2x ultra macro APO camera lens- Laowa 50mm f/2.8. Laowa says that this lens is the first lens with 2:1 maximum magnification and is specially designed for Micro Four Thirds (MFT) cameras.
This Laowa lens is equipped with a built-in chip and motor, which enable photographers to adjust aperture via the camera body. Simple and easy.
This Laowa lens has 10 elements in 10 groups and a 7-blades diagram, which are excellent for bokeh quality.
Laowa 50mm f/2.8 can focus the subject as close as possible with its minimum focusing distance of 5.3”.
Compared with other MFT camera lenses in the market, this lens can offer 2X magnification images and offers some appealing and special effects in your images.
When it comes to its automatic aperture, it has a CPU chip and motor which enable photographers to control the aperture by the camera body. Additionally, lens data can be recorded on EXIF.
