The inaugural World Photo Annual contest, hosted by the reFocus Awards, has declared the 2023 Photographers of the Year.
The reFocus World Photo Annual contest is a great platform for photographers to showcase their work and compete in various categories. The contest is divided into two main sections: professional (Photographer of the Year) and non-professional (Discovery of the Year). Within each of these sections, there are 22 individual genre categories, allowing photographers to submit their work in their specific area of interest or expertise. These genre categories cover a wide range of subjects and styles, providing participants with ample opportunities to showcase their unique vision and skills. The winners of each category are then considered for the prestigious titles of “Photographer of the Year” and “Discovery of the Year.” The Photographer of the Year receives a prize of $3,500, while the Discovery of the Year photographer is awarded a prize of $1,500.
