The People’s Choice Award in the 59th Wildlife Photographer of the Year is open for votes.

Voting for the People’s Choice Award in the 59th Wildlife Photographer of the Year is underway! The public is encouraged to participate by selecting their favorite image from 25 exceptional photographs. The judging panel carefully chose these images from an impressive pool of nearly 50,000 entries from 95 countries.

Among the selection, you’ll find captivating highlights that showcase the wonders of the natural world. From a mudskipper fish fiercely defending its territory to a clever London fox taking advantage of a full bin, these images capture intriguing wildlife moments in action. Notably, AP contributor Britta Jaschinski’s powerful photograph stands out, featuring fashion garments created from the skins of endangered big cats, raising awareness about the conservation challenges they face.

The People’s Choice Award images will be featured in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum. The exhibition is open until June 30th, 2024. The winner and the top four images will be announced in February. If you wish to vote for the People’s Choice Award, you can do so until January 31st.
