A 14-year-old Wildlife Photographer has her own Exhibition

Share

Recently, a talented 14-year-old wildlife photographer started her first wildlife photography exhibition.

Polly Bradbury, a resident of Lancaster Co-housing in the charming village and a student at Queen Elizabeth School in Kirkby Lonsdale, devoted numerous hours during the Covid pandemic to capturing stunning images of the wildlife along the banks of the River Lune.

She took many pictures of the beauty of nature and now she has wildlife photography at Halton Mill. Polly said in Halton that she used his dad’s camera to capture images of birds. That is her first time capturing wildlife photos. She said:

“The pandemic gave me a chance to observe and learn about birds and other wildlife living right on my doorstep, now I love going to the river by my house after school to feed ducks and watch kingfishers and herons.”

She added”

I loved spending a whole day in a bird hide in Dumfries and Galloway and will be returning there this weekend.
“I imagine wildlife photography will be a lifetime hobby for me.”

Polly’s wildlife photos exhibition is on the mezzanine at Halton Mill in Mill Lane until mid-July.

Free entry from 9 am until 5 pm.
