Fujifilm released a brand new camera – the Instax Square SQ40 camera as a new member joining the INSTAX SQUARE lineup of instant cameras.

This new Instax SQ40 is equipped with automatic exposure, which can automatically detect ambient light and optimize the shutter speed and flash according to specific conditions. If you often take some pictures in low-light conditions, Fujifilm says that to account for the slower shutter speed, it is recommended to hold the SQ40 still for an extended period of time after pressing the shutter button.

Fujifilm has developed a Selfie Mode to cater to the growing trend of self-portrait photography, enabling all users to capture stunning and captivating images with ease and precision. for selfie mode, it is recommended that you need to position yourself and range from 0.5 meters to 0.3 meters between you and the subject. The built-in flash is capable of effectively lighting up subjects up to approximately 7.2 feet (2.2 meters) away.

Fujifilm has unveiled a new instant film variety for INSTAX SQUARE, named “Sunset”, alongside the launch of SQ40. This latest addition to the square format instant film collection is designed to mimic the gentle merging of colors witnessed during sunset. As with all other types of INSTAX SQUARE instant film, Sunset will be obtainable in a single pack containing 10 exposures.

The new SQ40 instant camera from Fujifilm will be available for purchase at a price of $150. The square sunset instant film, which contains 10 exposures, will be sold separately in individual packs at a cost of $15.75 per pack. Meanwhile, the brown-colored Instax Mini Evo camera will retain its original price of $200.
