Laowa has launched its brand-new camera lens- Laowa 7.5mm F/2 MFT. The Laowa official says that this is the widest rectilinear lens for the Micro Four Thirds cameras.

For its standard and light version, it consists of 13 elements in 9 groups while it has 13 elements in 9 groups for the automatic aperture version. Also, it has a 110° angle of view and ultra-fast f/2 aperture, which allows for photographers to capture many great astrophotography shots easily and make photographers take many photography types in low-light condition, such as landscape photography.

For its weight and size, the standard version is 170g in weight and the automatic version is 150g. Easy to carry. The lens’s standard version is equipped with 7 aperture blades, which can take 14-point sunstars while its automatic version can shoot 10-points sun stars with its 5 aperture blades.

Laowa 7.5mm F/2 MFT

Laowa 7.5mm F/2’s optical design has two aspherical elements and three Extra-low dispersion elements, which control the aberrations and distortion to improve photos’ clarity and sharpness. The lens’s front has a 46mm thread for screw-in filters. It can provide the offering creative and exposure control when shooting the landscape.
