Saramonic SR-NV5x is a compact and excellent shotgun microphone that allows for the picking up broadcast-quality audio at a distance. It is an easy and excellent microphone that could be mounted on a camera, boompole, or stand. Constructed from durable metal, this lightweight microphone measures 6.69" in length. It features a hardwired 14.75" cable with a balanced 3-pin XLR output connector.

The SR-NV5X requires no batteries—simply connect it to your mic preamp and activate 48V phantom power for operation. This microphone features a cardioid polar pattern and focuses on-axis sound pickup while rejecting noise from behind. With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz, it delivers precise and accurate reproduction of sources like dialogue, ambient sounds, and sound effects. The included foam and furry windscreens effectively reduce wind noise and shield the mic from dirt and moisture.
